Make your own coffee house style drink at home

Many of us love places such as Starbucks or even the local coffee house establishments.  I'm sure many of us don't enjoy the prices as much, though.  Here's a recipe for a quick and easy (and cheap!) coffee shop style at home.  Enjoy!

Recipe of the day

This is another family favorite and has lots of room for variations.  I love that it's all raw fresh fruit and vegetables and it compliments many dishes.  It is also very tasty all by itself!  Even my kiddos love it.  :)

Recipe of the Day

This has been a family favorite for a number of years.  I believe it was originally a recipe from Pampered Chef (my mama used to do those PC parties years ago), but I've tweaked it just a bit to better fit my time and tastes.  It does have a small amount of prep time, but is otherwise pretty quick and super tasty.  My kids love it too!

Welcome to Mama Made Simple

Howdy! My name is Nicole, I'm Texas born and raised and currently reside in Houston. I just turned 30 years old, I'm divorced (although recently engaged to a wonderful man) and I have two daughters whose current ages are nearly 2.5 years and 5 years. I'm very new to blogging, so please bear with me as I figure this all out. :)

The main purpose of this blog will be to share simple tips and insight on many things that mothers deal with on a regular basis. Whether it's breastfeeding or cloth diapering, or gardening or cooking dinner, I hope to explain and share things in such a way that it seems like your best friend is talking to you.
